Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal trends to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps with 3-5 year horizons and actionable implementation plans
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into R&D priorities and product roadmaps
- Present trend analyses and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Author white papers and thought leadership content positioning the company as a future-shaping authority
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of proactive innovation across the organization
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field
- 8+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies and their societal implications (Web3, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to connect disparate trends into coherent narratives
- Strong data visualization and presentation skills for complex futuristic concepts
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or similar program)
- Published work in futurist publications or at industry conferences (e.g., CES, Davos)
