Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026-2030 innovation roadmaps integrating quantum computing, neurotech, and climate solutions
- Lead interdisciplinary teams in prototyping next-gen technologies (quantum AI, brain-computer interfaces, carbon capture)
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging disruptions and market opportunities
- Collaborate with NASA, DARPA, and academic partners on grant-funded moonshot projects
- Architect ethical frameworks for AI and biotech advancements aligning with UN Sustainable Goals
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and venture capital partners
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation specialists
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or technology forecasting
- Proven track record in quantum computing, neurotech, or climate tech implementation
- Published research in peer-reviewed futuristics journals or white papers
- Experience securing $5M+ in R&D grants from NASA, NSF, or DoD
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal impacts
- Strong network with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Portfolio demonstrating at least 3 commercialized future-tech solutions
