- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis for breakthrough technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Present strategic recommendations to investors and board members with data-driven futurist frameworks
- Mentor cross-functional teams in agile innovation methodologies for long-term R&D initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or technology consulting
- Proven track record of publishing future-focused research or whitepapers
- Expertise in scenario planning tools and emerging technology assessment frameworks
- Deep understanding of geopolitical, environmental, and technological megatrends
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight organizations)
