Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps across quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neural interfaces
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies with 3-5 year impact
- Design ethical frameworks for emerging tech deployment in healthcare and infrastructure
- Present innovation blueprints to C-suite and strategic partners
- Manage $2M+ annual R&D budget for experimental projects
- Build ecosystem partnerships with leading research institutions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership with 2026-relevant experience
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neurotech, climate tech
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products
- PhD or equivalent in STEM field with peer-reviewed publications
- Strong understanding of emerging tech policy and regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional storytelling ability for complex technical concepts
- Certification in futures methodology (e.g., from World Future Society)
- Portfolio of 2026-relevant innovation projects or thought leadership
