Responsibilities
- Design and lead cross-functional R&D initiatives targeting 2026 technological inflection points
- Establish strategic partnerships with academia, government labs, and Fortune 500 innovation departments
- Develop patentable frameworks for quantum-biological-AI convergence systems
- Present future roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture capital stakeholders
- Mentor a team of multidisciplinary specialists in emerging tech domains
- Secure $10M+ in innovation grants and experimental funding
- Produce thought leadership publications for IEEE, Nature, and industry whitepapers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Synthetic Biology, or related field (or equivalent breakthrough portfolio)
- 10+ years experience in emerging tech commercialization with 3+ unicorn-scale exits
- Published research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Expertise in futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Track record of securing $5M+ in government/VC funding
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum circuit modeling
- Global network connections with DARPA, CERN, and Singularity University
