Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and prioritize emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) impacting 2026-2030
- Develop future scenarios and roadmaps for product development, R&D, and market expansion
- Partner with engineering, marketing, and finance teams to integrate future insights into actionable strategies
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
- Present executive briefings and stakeholder workshops on future trends and disruptive opportunities
- Drive innovation sprints and prototyping for next-gen products and services
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global tech forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Technology, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism roles at tech-forward companies
- Proven track record of identifying and commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience with AI/ML, quantum computing, or synthetic biology applications
- Portfolio of published future forecasts or innovation frameworks
