Responsibilities
- Anticipate technological disruptions through quantitative forecasting and qualitative scenario analysis
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Produce executive-grade trend reports and innovation roadmaps with measurable impact metrics
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state opportunities
- Monitor global R&D landscapes and patent landscapes for competitive intelligence
- Advose on ethical implications and societal impacts of breakthrough technologies
- Establish KPIs for tracking technology adoption curves and market readiness
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology, Engineering, Futures Studies, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies with published thought leadership
- Mastery of foresight methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi analysis, etc.)
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling capabilities for technical audiences
- Experience with patent analysis and technology valuation frameworks
- Deep understanding of ethical tech governance and regulatory landscapes
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology commercialization strategies
