About the Role: As the 2026 Future Tech Strategist, you'll lead cross-functional initiatives to identify and validate technologies that will define the next decade. Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, biohybrid systems, neural interfaces) with 2026 market impact potential
- Develop strategic implementation roadmaps for integrating next-gen technologies into existing infrastructure
- Lead innovation sprints with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present technological forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders
- Collaborate with product teams to define 2026-era product roadmaps and feature sets
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory shifts affecting future technology adoption
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to stay ahead of technological curves
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy, R&D management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record in launching at least two major tech innovations
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, IoT, and sustainable tech ecosystems
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex tech concepts into business strategy
- Executive-level presentation and stakeholder management capabilities
- Master's degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Innovation Management (e.g., CFTE, CIMP)
