Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical compliance frameworks for next-gen AI systems (2026 roadmap)
- Conduct bias audits and risk assessments for autonomous decision-making algorithms
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards into AI development lifecycle
- Establish governance protocols for emerging AI technologies including generative systems
- Lead stakeholder engagement with regulators, academia, and industry coalitions
- Proactively identify ethical risks in AI applications across healthcare, finance, and autonomous systems
- Create transparency reports and ethical impact assessments for public disclosure
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Law, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years in AI governance, compliance, or ethics with emerging tech focus
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, OECD Principles)
- Deep understanding of bias mitigation techniques in ML systems
- Experience with algorithmic auditing tools and bias detection methodologies
- Strong background in policy development for autonomous systems
- Certification in AI ethics (e.g., IEEE Ethics Certification) preferred
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex ethical concepts
